How to Get Your Stolen iPhone Back with Find My iPhone?

 Find My iPhone app

Here is how to enable the Find my iPhone app if you already have it installed on your device.
  1. Make sure that you have enabled iCloud on your device, if not you can do the same from the settings tab.
  2. Make sure that the location service for your phone is also activated if not activated you can do the same in the settings tab again.
  3. Scroll down on the same screen to Find my iPhone at the bottom of the list and click through to enable it specifically there
There it is your app is ready to be used now, however to run it properly you need to have the latest OSX, iTunes and iCloud services installed on your device. IF everything goes fine you should be able to get a Preferences screen in your Control Panel. So once you are ready you need to know how to use this service to track your lost or stolen iPhone.
So here we go if you have lost your device all you need to do is to go to the icloud.com, assuming that you do not have another iOS device where you can log on to Find my iPhone app.  Once logged in you should be able to see the list of device that are registered to your account, You can select your device that has been stolen and the location discovery shall start automatically once done you will get the location on a map with options to remotely lock or remotely wipe your iPhone.
t goes without saying that you should also call the police and get an incident or report number – you’ll need this to claim on insurance. Most contents insurance usually comes with the option to cover devices while they’re out of the house, so if you’re lucky then you can get a new phone.
