iBall Slide i7011 Price = Rs. 13450/-

At 7 inches, the iBall Slide i7011 is at par with the other android tablets in this range. The device is based on the Gingerbread Android v2.3 OS and operates on 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor backed by a DDR2 512 MB RAM. It checks all the boxes with connectivity in mind with Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI, Bluetooth and most importantly, 3G. It stands out with an in-built storage capacity of 8 GB on top of an additional expandable storage capacity of 32GB. HCL ME Tablet X1 Price = Rs. 10,990/-

At 391.5g, the HCL ME Tablet X1 is one of the lightest android tablets in this feature, without compromising on specification or features. Featuring a 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor with DDR2 512 MB RAM, it promises to give accelerated performance and a great user experience with integrated G-Sensor like most other tablets. You get 4 GB of internal memory and upto 32 GB expandable storage capacity. It scores a tad less on connectivity as the tablet does not feature Bluetooth. The tablet gives users access to a customized HCL app market with over 10,000 ME applications.

Beetel Magiq II price = Rs. 9500/-

Affordable and budget Beetel phones are quite popular and now the brand wants to woo the tech savvy Indian user with its Magiq II android based tablet. It is based on the Android v2.2 Froyo OS which is v2.3′s predecessor. The tablet features a 786 MHz processor, lacks a USB port and a capacitive touch screen. While the resistive touchscreen does the job, it does require more effort than a capacitive touchscreen. In simple words, users will need to apply pressure on the screen rather than just glide their fingers around to navigate and tap. Yes, it is not the most feature packed android tablet money can buy, but what sets it apart is that it has inbuilt 3G – you don’t even need a dongle, and it can double up as phone(this is the reason we included it in the list) . It also has Wi-Fi and upto 16GB expandable storage capacity, 7 inch display, two 2MP front and back cameras all in less than Rs.10,000.
