Apple has released Mac OS X Lion, eighth major release of its flagship OS. And following this release, comes a new version of iTunes. iTunes 10.4 for Windows and Mac brings some stability and performance improvements along with compatibility with OS X Lion.
iTunes 10.4 is especially designed for OS X Lion. So Windows users will not find any visible differences in this latest release.
iTunes 10.4 now supports OS X Lion’s full-screen capability, a feature which allows you to use apps (including iTunes) without any distractions. You can switch to the full screen view by clicking on the button at the top right corner of iTunes.
The latest update of iTunes has several other minor enhancements that bring it closer to the look and feel of Mac OS X Lion.
Note that some iTunes plug-ins may no longer be compatible with iTunes 10.4.
