The Android 4.0.4 OTA update started rolling out to the GSM Galaxy Nexus.The official update is now available for download directly from Google. Getting it installed, on the other hand, is a bit of a task. We’ve done most of the legwork for you here, so follow the below instructions and you’ll be running 4.0.4 in no time.

How to Install Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich on Galaxy Nexus (GSM):
Step 2- Then Unlock your bootloader. (Recommending this Article for Unlocking Bootloader)
Step 3- Now Download the Android 4.0.4 update from Google Server, and Download the latest ClockworkMod recovery.
Step 4- Copy Downloaded Android 4.0.4 update file to /sdcard folder on your Galaxy Nexus.
Step 5- Now enter your device into bootloader mode. (Turn off your device first, then hold Volume up + Volume Down + Power button.)
Step 6- Once device entered into bootloader mode, connect it with your computer, and open aCMD command prompt or terminal. Then Locate your fastboot folder, ensuring your ClockworkMod image is also inside that same folder.
Step 7- When you get into that folder, type below line in the command line.
fastboot-windows.exe boot recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.2-maguro.img
Step 8- Now use the ClockWorkMod recovery menu to flash a zip file from the SD card, and choose the OTA zip file you downloaded earlier in step 3.
Step 9- Let the device do its work, and you will get into Android 4.0.4 ICS. Enjoy!
And that – as they say – is that. You can now enjoy Android 4.0.4 on your GSM Galaxy Nexus!
